There is a Thurmont / Hawkins neighborhood clean-up event this Saturday, March 7, from 11am to 1pm (the weather looks clear, but a little chilly, so think of wearing a few layers). Please meet in the parking lot of the Christ Woodland United Methodist Church at 444 N. Hawkins Ave., and the clean up will focus on trash pick-up on surrounding streets and some minor garden work in front of the church. Following the clean-up, there will be hot dogs and chips for lunch.
