Anne T. Case CLC Students & Families,

As this letter is being written, we have 25 days left in the school year.  The last day for students is June 2!  While there is only a short amount of time left, there is a lot going on with Case, our students, our staff, and our community.  We want to use this opportunity to remind our families of many of the opportunities we have coming up:

1. APS Summer Experiences

EXPLORE! CREATE! HAVE FUN! Preview the wide variety of exciting summer programs for Akron Public Schools students.  Summer offerings, or what we call The Summer Experience: Choose Your Adventure, are designed for students to have fun, be creative, solve mysteries, learn about careers, tinker with robots, and advance in high school credits.

2. KG Registration

KG Registration for the 2022-23 school year is open.  Please spread the word to family and friends

3. Race for Case

This year will be the 10th Annual Race for Case, and we will be back in person on Saturday, May 21.  In addition to helping our students, staff, and families live the IB Learner Profile of being Balanced, the race helps generate funds for our PTA and building!

4. IB Exhibition

Fifth graders engage in an in depth inquiry on a self selected issue that can be found locally and globally.  Students work in collaborative groups to build knowledge around the topic and then identify a way they can take action to make a difference.  Dates and logistics are being finalized; there will be more information sent out soon.

5. Spring Concert

After a successful, virtual Winter Concert, our Spring Concert will return in person!  Dates and logistics are being finalized, and we will be sending out more information soon. Stay tuned!
