Anne T. Case Community Learning Center

Interims - Quarter 1

Case CLC Families,

As we are halfway through the first marking period, we wanted to give you a number of updates and reminders along with your student’s Interim Progress Report. First, in grades 2-5 you can view “real time” grades through Home Access Center; for grades K-1, you can always check on your student’s progress by reaching out to his/her teacher; please remember that our interims moving forward will only be released through HAC, as we continue to grow with technology just like our students.  Second, Many of you have seen some new faces at the building; the following staff have joined us since the beginning of the school year, or were not announced before the start of our year:

  • Ms. Ritch - Administrative Specialist

  • Ms. Wilkinson - Intervention Specialist

  • Mr. Stacey - Climate Coach

  • Mr. Lama - Technology Specialist

  • Ms. Furman, Mr. Hamad, Mr. Hofacker, & Ms. Rebovich - Tutors

Finally, the best way(s) to stay up to date with what is going on at Anne T Case and your student’s classroom through any/all the following ways:

By this time, you have already been able to look at and review your child’s progress report.  If you have any questions about the marks/grades your child is receiving, please talk first to your child, then reach out to their teacher.  While your student’s teacher will be the best resource for understanding how your student earned their grades, we would like to remind you that a large part of not just their grades but also their learning is their attendance.  As a reminder, our doors open at 7:50am, and breakfast is served through 8:10.  8:15 is the time students begin going to their classrooms to prepare for the school day, and all students should be in the building by 8:25 to ensure they have time to get to their class and settled in without being in danger of being marked tardy and missing instruction which starts promptly at 8:30.

To end our monthly letter, we would like to call attention to two great achievements for our staff and students. First, Case CLC had its best ODE Report Card in over a decade, and was one of only 2 schools in the district to receive two different 5-Star ratings. The state report card is for the 2021-22 year.  Second, Case CLC was awarded the Bronze for our PBIS program by the Ohio PBIS Network. Please go to Case’s website to learn more, and if you haven’t congratulated your student or one of our staff members, please do; these are wonderful accomplishments!

Thank you,

Mr. Doslak, Principal
